Transfer Portal 2022

Jones/ Posh/Curbelo all going to play 30+
If that happens, it would be different than CMA's approach. Bobby Portis averaged about 28 min/game and then got drafted by NBA and is in the playoffs right now. The point is CMA style requires 100% effort, no sitting back and last season Champ's efficiency dropped off late in the game as he was playing 34+ min/game. He was exhausted at the end and how many close games did we lose where Julian played 35+ minutes. The bottom line is we have a full roster--use it or lose it.

Both JC and Posh averaged over 30

And lost close games because:
1 bad free throw shooting
2 bad 3 point shooting
3 bad coaching

i'm excited. think we'll have some exciting moments this upcoming season.

however, i think we'll only be slightly better than last year (barely). the core team is in place. these are the guys that will carry the weight. we ride or die with this group. and yet the shooting is still a massive question mark.

if we do sign someone else, it'll be in the coburn, steph smith, realm. and we know how that went...

i hope i'm wrong.

Klintman posts should probably be moved to recruiting thread as he's a HS 2022 recruit. Would be wonderful if we picked up a late 4 star recruit who is also 6'9" and originally committed to Maryland with our last schollie. Why not dream?
