Transfer Portal 2022

You're right. I forgot about that guy. He was productive.

But my point remains that we've done so much better with bench players from high majors like Owens, Wheeler, Martin, Simon, etc.

And yeah, we've had some busts like that out-of-shape kid from NC State and that other big from South Carolina. I don't remember their names and I is too lazy to do the googles.

Xavier’s Dwon Odom will be entering the transfer portal, sources told @Stockrisers. Averaged 6.3 points, two assists, one steal, and played 20 minutes per game last season. Former Top-100 recruit.

6’7 freshmen. Didn’t play much, but;
9-15 from 3
17-20 from the line
29-51 overall.
60% from three... this guy would get a statue built for him if he comes here!

In all seriousness though, this would be a solid pick-up if staff is interested. Was a 4-star out of high school, has good size and quickess can play the 3 or 4. Looks like they offered him in high school, although I don't recall hearing much about his recruitment.

Lol yup that’s why I went with totals opposed to %s.

Wichita State

A player like this combined with Curbelo, there are others too, would be the type of transfer you could say "this is a difference maker."

Locke was a kid I wanted here last year but we had little to no chance to get him. His last two years at Florida he averaged almost 11 ppg and shot 40% and 43% from 3. Numbers went down a bit last year at Louisville (almost 9 ppg and 34% from 3). From Baltimore, so he might be looking for something closer to home but I would be happy if we got a kid like this with high major experience and his kind of stroke.
