Tournament and Coach rides off into the sunset. I think he realizes that he can't sign top recruits here and will move on. We knew for years the day would come that the Big East would change and I fear today was our last chance to remain relevant for a long time. Saddest day since Pittsburgh.

No. You cannot blame this on the Big East. Marquette, Georgetown and Villanova all have stellar recruiting classes coming in. Plus Xavier and Seton Hall. This is an SJU issue right now.

Love Seth in the studio, and the one or two yearly upsets he pulled in the ACC, but the rest of the body of work never seemed good enough.

But I've said before I don't get how Paul Hewitt is known as a recruiter and Greenberg is not, because Hewitt is as bland as they come in interviews and Greenberg is always entertaining.

Danny Hurley has out recruited "Lav" and his hard working staff in both 2014 and the current 2015 recruiting cycles. Hurley went head to head with "Lav" in the 2014 recruitment of 4* Jared Terrell and Jared selected Rhode Island.
