Nooo bad take Jack. Thibs is a very good coach but not without his faults.Lazy basketball fans trying to point to the Knicks injuries as a “Thibs problem” when injuries like Randle’s/Bogdanovic were just freak plays/slightly dirty by the opponent
Grievance aired
Mitch and Anunoby are both notoriously injury prone and Bogie didn't play enough to get worn down. However, I completely agree that Thibs biggest coaching weakness is playing his main guys too much and not giving enough time to his bench players. I totally get your point on the Hart injury. Then explain Josh Hart who is an absolute warrior and looked like he was shot in the abdomen 2 minutes into last nights game? Tell me there’s no wear and tear there, I’ll hang up and listen.
Again I’m a fan of Thibs but the guy destroyed Derrick Rose’s career and a few others. If you think 4 out of 8 rotation players going down is an aberration then I just don’t know what to say to you.
Completely agree he’s injury prone…which is why Thibs should’ve played him 36 minutes instead of 46 lol!Mitch and Anunoby are both notoriously injury prone and Bogie didn't play enough to get worn down. I thought the same thing as you re: bolded language above.Completely agree he’s injury prone…which is why Thibs should’ve played him 36 minutes instead of 46 lol!
He was playing around 35-36 min early in the playoffs but Thibs couldn’t help himself and started playing him 45-46 min. Really begs the question is he really a max player with this injury history?
Guy was playing out of his freaking mind that game he was hurt too. Such a pity.
Because I look at facts, not emotion. Yours is the height of second guessing IMO. Randle dislocated his shoulder, it had nothing to do with minutes played. OG is injury prone and pulled a muscle running down the court. As for Hart, EVERY NBA player has wear and tear at this time of year, every single player. The causal effect of that on the injury is for a doctor to discern, not a fan or sportswriter. Then explain Josh Hart who is an absolute warrior and looked like he was shot in the abdomen 2 minutes into last nights game? Tell me there’s no wear and tear there, I’ll hang up and listen.
