We have had poor Treatment ftom the Refs since the first Seton Hall game . It seems the Refs who do our Games are taking it out on us , because we bitched about that awful Call and it got a lot of National Media Attention on Stephens . Ponds hasn’t shot anywhere near the number of foul shots he did last year . Howard on the other hand gets a lot of calls and goes to the line a lot . It makes a difference . But , the Refs tonight lost control of the game . They don’t even give Mullin the courtesy of the sideline chat that Cooley gets away with all season . It makes a difference . While we lost this game for a lot of reasons , the disparity of calls should warrant AD Cragg asking for a meeting with Val Ackerman and Stu Jackson at BE headquarters . The Refs tonight were just as out of control as Mullin and Ponds were . They need to be conferred.with on that basis alone . On a more important note , let’s hope Ponds doesn’t have a Separated or Broken Wrist .
A separated or broken wrist? He dribbled a basketball and high fived people for 35 minutes after he was on the ground. Come on
. I really hope you are right and there is no injury . But, speculation has surfaced ftom time to time that Ponds May have hurt the Wrist during the Butler game . He hits the floor a lot , taking the beating he gets going to the hoop . Tonight , he injured it again . And , playing the second half , as he did , does not mean he’s not going to get X rays or MRI tomorrow . Again , your Medical Assessment , might be spot on . Like I said , I hope you are right and I am wrong . The Refs didn’t make his wrist feel better though .
Looked like he injured his left elbow at the end of the Butler game. Tonight, he was icing his right wrist at the half. They looked like different injuries, FWIW.
