Actually with Wisconsin now #4, that loss does not look that bad at all. A split with 2 top 5 teams this early....no argument here...hopefully we get same Sampson/Sanchez to show up from the Fordham game.
Unreal. I'm sure that's the next thing that comes to people's minds when they think of great food and nightlife: New York, London, Pairs, Buenos Aires..... and Syracuse

Can't argue that they've been an excellent program over the last few decades, but hopefully we can start to take back NY basketball a little. I think Lavin can be the coach to do it.

Well, that guy's life revolves around restaurants, bars and sporting events. And Syracuse is comparable/better for the latter two? Major LOL. He must really miss whatever minor league teams call that pit home. And bars? There are more bars in Manhattaan than probably all of Onondaga County. What he really misses are the $2 beer specials on college nights where he probably would still use his college ID. God forbid he actually, you know, do other things with his life, like the theater, Central Park.
I actually like it better that Syracuse is #2 instead of #1 why?
Because even if we beat them, they could still say "oh but atleast we held the #1 spot for a week.
This way, if AZ loses at Mich then Syracuse plays us with the chance of being #1 next week. This would be even sweeter to me anyway, to deny them the #1 spot next week. Damn I`m hoping Michigan beat Arizona.

I've been reading the Syracuse board someone posted a link on here. I hate their fans so much they are so arrogant and if we pull of this upset id be fine with losing to them for the rest of eternity just give us this one win...

If we can pull this off then next year lets get 40 tickets for next years game in the Carrier dome. Rent a party bus, and have a keg in the back. Then buy some peanuts there and throw them at their fans. I`d definitely.
Got the idea from my brothers friend doing that same thing, all Yankee fans invading Fenway. Hey 40 of us could hold our own.

You wouldn't make it up past westchester from the slyfox without half the guys going to the bathroom already.
That Villanova Sly Fox trip a few years ago was standing room only ( and by that I mean the entire bus standing to go to the bathroom and by the time they sat down they were back standing on line again to go to the bathroom because they drank so much alcohol )
The season goes in one of two directions after this game. I think both roads lead to the tournament, but it would take months to build the same excitement and momentum a win over Cuse could offer. I don't think they are anywhere near as good as the #2 team in the country at this point.
