Syracuse Game

Its been a long time since I have looked forward to a game like this. I am trying to get some casual fans to go. We need as many as we can get.

That has to be the dumbest quote. Since when are non conference games irrelevant regardless.

Boeheim after the game - "oh well we just lost our #2 ranking to a former Big East rival in front of 10,000 of our fans in Madison Garden. Does not matter to me, the game was not very attractive. Can't wait to play at N.C. State"

Yea def think you're right. We are gonna need that win because Xavier almost lost to Evansville (they didn't look good). And Seton Hall is struggling with NJIT (yes the same NJIT that lost like 50 games in a row) the big east isn't looking as strong this year
 
Just heard another one of espn's many herbs talk up Cuse. This time Bilas. It's funny how all these idiots crown teams in December. Atleast 5 or 6 teams will be the built up as the best from now till March, and id venture to guess Syracuse will not be the last.

Seton Hall won going away by 16. NJIT is much improved. Xavier was picked bottom 5 in Big East yet they are 7-3 and had 9,000 home fans at the game.
For Jimmy V......when we beat Syracuse I guess we will be the best team in the country for at least one week.

But speaking of Jimmy V I just finished watching Survive and Advance. Which I have seen so many times but it truly never gets old. It also is great for a younger fan to get a glimpse of what college basketball was like during the 80s. Looked like a much better league as a whole compared to now because players used to stay in school.

Not sure why he'd say something like that anyway? There's a lot of history and nostalgia in the matchups with former Big East teams like SJU vs Cuse, Georgetown etc. in addition, there is a lot of interest in NYC for the game. The house will basically be packed. It will be a battle for Ny etc. I'm scratching my head as to why he doesn't think there's is value or attractiveness to this game just because we are in different leagues now? Guy is an imbecile. Maybe we shouldn't schedule them any more. One less MSG game for them.
