STONY BROOK, Tue., Nov. 7, 7p, FS-1

Why were the refs calling some of those fouls towards the end of the game? Lol

Anyway, encouraging. Great shooting, great defense too, despite the score. If SB plays like that during the season, they’re gonna be a headache in their conference.

If I gambled then this is a game I would've taken St. John's. Glad I don't because that ending would've been frustrating, especially since it was initially -16.5 and it just took one FT at the end to make the difference.

Very enjoyable game and happy to get the W.

I’m less worried about the backup guards. Wilcher should be better, he looked nervous. Davis looked like he can play the some quality minutes. Most importantly, when healthy, Dingle is playing more than he did. He should be able to play the point at times — especially with Luis in the fold.

My only concern is if Soriano gets in foul trouble. Teams will be attacking him. Ledlum is too small to play the five against most teams. Zuby did not look good at all.

Agree on Zuby, disagree on Ledlum. Ledlum may not be big but he has a nose for the ball, a quick first step and he’s smart. He swill give some 4s fits. But agree about front court depth.
