We all realize that UA only got the contract to outfit the teams, right? Plenty of companies will be able to produce STJ merch. Once UA finishes with the unis they should be able to leverage them with similar consumer gear but til then it's pretty much status quo. Nike may stop making STJ merch but I don't think they have to. You are most likely correct. Unless of course the contract excludes certain competitors. Out of the gate I would expect Nike to stop making. But down the line I wouldnt be shocked to see them re-introduce especially if we play well.

Maybe in the minority, but I like the light blue.

I like to have options. And I like having alot of different gear available.

If what UA is doing with all the Spawn Anatomix sneakers, we should see alot of different mix and matches years down the road.

More is good IMO. And I can't wait until they start making gear for sale to the public. I've never worn UA gear, but I will now.

I am plenty with the times. Line that up to a DePaul jersey and its the same thing. Nothing like wearing identical uni's to a conference foe. Oh and Redmen, Red Storm. I have no problem with a dash of blue. Not an entire blue jersey like that.

I was so distracted by the ugliness of the jersey and it was Rysheed's account I just figured it was a 'selfie'.

Maybe I just love change too much, but wow those look sharp! I agree I'd rather have that blue as a secondary color, not the dominant primary one, but wow do they look better than our crappy ones this past year. And rest assured the players LOVE new gear. Lavin's black and red UA zip up in the press conference also looked very sharp! So far so good from UA IMO. This is more experimentation than Nike has done and we are just getting started.

By the way, there are also new baseball hats with that same blue as the primary color and that red as the SJ logo on it.
