St. John's to Leave Nike?

The move from STJ to SJU is official, love it. I have changed my username accordingly.

.@STJNow tweet confirms switch to SJU. The University's change from STJ back to SJU is part of the school's rebranding process - sources.
 
Also, there has been a lot of confusion regarding St. Joseph's allegedly trademarking SJU wand that being the reason we were not allowed to use it. St. John's actually has the SJU trademark for merchandise. St. Joe's registered the domain name SJU.edu and St. John's/Nike made the decision to switch to STJ to avoid the confusion of people searching for SJU then going to the St. Joe's website.

Isn't the whole point of branding to present a consistent image? Whatever they go with, I hope this is the last freaking change.

Does anyone know if the bookstore on campus has UA merchandise yet? I haven't been on campus since the July switch over from Nike to UA.

They might have some basic stuff. I mean they always did have some UA merch.

Expect them to ramp up before the start of the school year, not so much now.

Nope, not that I've seen. I go every once in a while just to see the new stuff. It's basically still the same...they are still trying to get rid of the Nike stuff first. The only UA products available for fan purchase are the few shirts they already had there from a while ago (nothing special). Too bad they aren't making the UA t-shirts available like the one Rysheed was wearing. I know I would have picked one up already to wear on a hot summer day. I love their material it's so comfortable.
