St. John's-Lehigh Game Thread

 bricking alot of free throws down the stretch Lindsey misses both but Gods Gift with a great defensive play SJU back to the line
 
SJU wins 78-73. Lotta moxie showed the first two games.

Oh, and God'sgift was perfect from the field and line.
 
 ST Johns wins 78 - 73 great effort for the youngsters never quitting playing hard defense down the stretch and pulling out a victory they are only gonna get better
 
A lot of good and bad to take away. To keep it short, they are talented, work hard, and are resilient. But they have to learn how to hit free throws, their 3 pt shooting needs to improve, and back side rebounding is a problem. Overall a young team with a bright future. This is going to be a roller coaster. 
 
These kids have so much athleticism - they will hang in there in a lot of games this season. Good to see Coach Lavin back. 
 
A great win at this stage of the season. Remember in all probability we are the youngest team in division 1 so every win we get this season is key and a huge learning experience. Congrats to the staff and Gift is the man.

MY opinion was heard. He went to man to man ,used the talent and pulled it out. It is going to be a long hard season.
It we get help in Dec it will make big difference.They should shoot100 foul shoots each every day But nice comeback and termination.They have heart lets give them credit Zona next
 
Nice job by Lavin and staff down the stretch. They switched to man to man, and Lehigh didn't adjust. Think we are going to have to do more of that this season. The man to man gave us a lift. There is a lot of things we need to work on, but love how they fought back and took the game.

Got to get some outside shots to fall soon.
