St. John's-Georgetown, Game II Game Thread

They are going to be in trouble. Four guys have two fouls already.

I agree. The refs also aren't particularly calling a good game, either. The offensive rebounds are also hurting us, as well.

terrible possession at the end of the half....ball should have been in harkless' hands. another braindead moment for dunlap.

didn't expect to be within 5 tho...hopefully deangelo is ok.

Honestly, lacking a true point guard hurts the team. Look at what Lin has done for the Knicks. Having a pure point guard...Branch next year, should make a huge difference

Greene started the offense too late. Nevertheless, a decent end to the 1st half.

That last possession was horrible-- but nice job by the kids tightening up the D

They aren't allowing Sims to dictate G'town's offense. For the most part, they are shooting jumpers. Offensive rebounds are playing a big role and allowing 'em to get the line, so far.

 what game are you watching?
did you not see Harkless hurt his eye or is your compulsion to post negative and cynical remarks gotten
completely out of control?
I like your name..illwill..but you should change the 30 to 90 to reflect an older age of crankiness

I agree, Redmen Mike. There are plays being left on the court because we don't have the point guard who can consistently initiate and facilitate.

There was one particular possession where Greene could've sliced into G'town's defense prior to it being set and he decided to pull it back out. He's playing decently, but he'll be better when he can play more off the ball.

Harrison hurt his eye. But, I catch your drift.

that's what I get for typing when I'm annoyed by all the negativity. I typed the wrong name .
nevertheless, emotion aside, if I read just illwill's comments I would never believe we were giving a top team in the country a real fight

Greene does way to much dribbling they cant start their play or shot with seconds left on the clock. They often .take rush shots or bad shots. However if we werent getting screwed by the refs we would be winning this game
its important to go at sims get him in foul trouble.and let him sit for awhlie start hitting a better % of our outside shots .and this game is up for grabs0
All in all kids are doing a good job but they are capable of much more Like .to see Greene penetrating and dishing more GG not a factor
