They've been working out together a lot for sure but I don't think legit practices start until after tonight. I may be wrong but I think that's how it works

Most MMs do not signal the start of practice as they once did. It is largely ceremonial and is an event held mostly for the fans and recruits to drum up excitement.

Practice started two weeks ago. It now begins 6 weeks before your first regular season game. However, most schools still opt to do this event around now (ESPNU is doing their coverage tonight - no SJU, obviously).

A question about this kind of events: do the high school or juco players receive a (verbal) invitation by the staff to attend the event?

Think Andrew was being sarcastic as some on the board didn't care when the kid Sanders picked Duquesne.
