St. John's 2015 Season Tip-Off Reception

I read somewhere that there was no TV. I hope they re-evaluate and let us see, what I think will be one of the best openings in college ball!

Maybe I'm getting old, but what's to like about midnight madness? it's mostly people talking and gimmicky contests.

I mean, I hope Briscoe has the time of his life, but it's kindve like he Pro Bowl in terms of excitement. It's all manufactured enthusiasm. No real basketball.

One of the best is pretty strong statements, hopefully it's a pack house
 
Two years ago it was on espn 3, and last year we saw minimal coverage on a fox sports 1 midnight madness special, because every team in the big east was doing it at the same time. I hope there is some form of coverage

If your hoping for coverage on FS1 don't hold your breath. NASCAR and women's soccer on the docket for tomorrow
 
Does anyone know if the tip off event is sold out? I really hope it is a full house and the recruits in attendance have a great experience.

They've been working out together a lot for sure but I don't think legit practices start until after tonight. I may be wrong but I think that's how it works

I can't imagine it will be. Usually only open half the arena.

They've been working out together a lot for sure but I don't think legit practices start until after tonight. I may be wrong but I think that's how it works

They have been able to have legitimate practices for a few weeks now. They moved the date up a year or two ago.

I would be surprised if every seat isn't filled.
 
Was last year. But like you said they dont have every seat available. Probably 4,000 or so.
