Half the South Bronx was there last night. The Delarosa family with 2 big poles with flags and drums.

Shocked they got those items thru the robo cop security.

I had no idea we were recruiting 2 big Polish kids, let alone from the South Bronx ;)

Thanks for the bringing my attention to the David Lipscomb interview:

A very impressive young man -- well spoken, well grounded, and someone who should do very well in life.
 
Also should note that Keady was not announced as a staff member. I heard a few weeks ago that he likely wouldn't be around as much. Nothing is wrong with him I was told.
 
Forgot to mention this earlier in my post. I'm sure most already know this but Harrison is simply a great guy. I was fortunate to be in the press room with the team before the event started and all of the guys were friendly & loose. But Harrison stood out. He walks over to me at one point and puts his arm around me and just starts chatting. Simply a class act. More importantly, you can tell just how badly he wants to win, not for himself, but for St. John's. Lets hope this group has a memorable season. Here is a summary collage of the night. Let the games begin.

Welcome back Moose! You were missed! This will be a special year so post often. The Board has been hard to read lately but thank God for the Paultzman. I am hoping other MIA's like Rawdognyc return as well. There will be much to discuss and debate this year.
