I'm certainly not holding my breath. If it's DePaul, then I'm expecting a loss.
Done caring
In reference to bullet point 7.

SJU coaches all-time Big East Conference regular season totals after first 4 years:
W/L Record Win %
Carnesecca (34-16) 0.680
Jarvis (43-23) 0.652
Lavin (40-32) 0.556
Mahoney (29-43) 0.403
Roberts (20-46) 0.303
Mullin (20-52) 0.278
Seems like we would have to make a concerted effort to find a worse coach than Mullin. When the time comes, I think Mike Craig will find someone with coaching experience, with the ability and work ethic to recruit, and most importantly with the savy to surround himself with assistants to make a complete staff.

There is still time for St. John’s to change this narrative because it seems in this season there are no consequences to losing. But no matter how you spin it, 20-11 and 8-10 is an abject disappointment for the Johnnies. #SJUBB

Got to hand it to Mullin. He has ben able to outdo Norm.

The ENTIRE coaching staff should be embarrassed for the way this team was prepared. No fire, no passion , no pride!!!

I'd take the two wins last year vs. Duke & Nova over a repeat of this season.

If we miss the NCAA's, I hope the team decides to bow out of NIT invite.

Sorry to say but in the near future some of you may regret the comments you made during and following today’s loss.

After 4 yrs,I was watching the other BE schools play today and you know we are the worst team in the conference. This can not stand coach and or staff must be held accountable, changes need to be made quickly The school is paying for better results. In the real world you would have been fires 6 games ago we have to bite the bullet this experiment has not worked cut our loses.if we are not one and done on conference myself and many will be greatly surprised. If we get into the dance we will be gone quick sad that we can only look toward next yr. but hey I could be wrong which I hope I am and we get to the sweet 16 lol

That's that NBA mentality. Do you see Roy Willams work himself in to such a frenzy on the side lines imploring his team that he suffers from vertigo and feinting spells. When have you seen Mullin get the slightest bit worked up to inspire his team?

Don’t know what that means but I hope everyone’s health is ok.

Maybe north, but I doubt it. A win Wednesday just puts us where everyone thought we'd be. Gotta win Thursday then.
Anyway you look at it, this is a big time choke job. Couldn't win one of the last 3 to avoid the Wednesday game?

The regular season ended up being a huge disappointment
But, starting Wednesday, our record is 0-0 all over again
We still have an opportunity to salvage a very successful season
Here's hoping that some home cooking is just what we needed
Good luck in the B.E. tourney, guys!!!
Here's hoping that we turn it around big time!!

C’mon guys.
This sounds ominous.
We’re wacky diehard fans, but let’s grasp ‘realty’.
I pray and hope everybody is okay.

is it me but things that frustrate me the most are ....we don't crash the boards. After we launch shot after shot, the whole team just falls back while when our opponent takes a shot they have 3-4 guys crashing the board and getting another possession. That drives me nuts! Second is our foolish and untimely fouls. Team seems undisciplined making bad fouls and getting techs. We didn't press enough..... Mullin has used his bench poorly......and we just get screwed by refs on top of it all.

We shoot and run back on D Can’t even get a long rebound that way. The benches biggest problem is they are not that good. Roberts and Williams will probably develop, but really arent ready this year. Dixon probably would have helped somewhat.
