Imo....Demary is in a different category than Lowe. I am actually not sold on Lowe being what we need. I do like Sellers.

Stallings drove that place in a real ditch. Capel should not have been given that long of an extension in hindsight.

They can't get out of their own way.

First they get tired of Dixon. OK he could only get them so far but they lost sight of the fact that things can always get worse.

The Stallings hire is in the conversation for all-time worst hire, ever. IMHO an inside job by the AD doing a friend a favor. I hope he at least got a kickback.

Capel was not an inspired hire but not a terrible one. But the extension was a terrible decision in view of the track record.

And the pity of it is that in the ACC they could really be competitive now if they had done things correctly.

Anyway I"m off topic - if we don't get Lowe let's get the kid from Stanford and a PG and give it a ride.

Feel like Holloman has to be a target unless he wants to lead his team in shots next year. Experienced pass first guy, used to playing up tempo, can play defense, can hit an outside shot, knows how to win.

Wouldn't be a super exciting guy but if Demary is a long shot and Thornton even entering the portal is up in the air, we can do a lot worse at the PG position especially with some of the names we've been loosely linked to.

In any event, Sim has to step up and seize the moment this year, getting stronger to better finish in the paint and up the physical part of his defense. He has to work his tail off this summer to compete with the anticipated level of SJ guards. Nice kid, yeah came from Carolina, but to me in his Junior season has to show a lot more consistency and maturity to be a key cog here. Pulling for him, but want to see results.

Sellers, Sanon, Wilcher and a PG sounds like a pretty good backcourt to me to pair with arguably the best frontcourt in college hoops.
