You didn't see my intended humor either ;)

I'd sign him up if his workout goes well. His shot looks great and he can get into it on his own -- which will be a revelation after this season. His handle looks okay. Athleticism top notch and he seems to hustle from what I've seen. I like his teammate Quaintance more.
 
The concern about him being a negative defensively at ASU is something the staff will have to do their research on. Does he have the tools to play defense at the level Pitino wants? Now does he have the desire? If both things are a yes then this is a no brainer IMO.

Yes and hopefully Repole and CRP's experience with horse racing will translate into zeroing in his health status especially if he is asking for big $$$. Hopkins reminds me of a former race horse who showed some BLACK TYPE performances as a 2yo, then got injured and hasn't raced for two years...and is now being placed into a high claiming races (portal). I hope he takes a physical at HSS, takes new scans to rule out any lingering issues, and then is brought in for a workout. Just like a NBA program would do. Here is a player with a previous ACL tear (no mention if he had associated meniscal tears) takes 10 months to return, then gets a bone bruise and is done for the year with the whole Conference schedule ahead of him. But in those 3 games he did average 30 mins a game with 17 pts before he got hurt. So Hopkins did show that he returned back fully from his ACL and hopefully if all goes well could be a huge asset to our program next season.

There was a guard who went out yesterday that they are after hard! Not in portal yet but....
Also RJ. And forgive if this has been already posted. I have spoken to ROC and they love the kid and his family. It will come down to finances. He is NOT a 1st rd pick. He will go to the combined but not expected to test off the charts and ARK aside questions he need to answer for next level. Does he want the 500K 2-way or does he want to come back, earn well over the 7fig mark and work on his game? I can say I think his agency wants him to go pro, take les snow but learn the pro game and get 24/7 coaching. They have talked to his parents and my understanding is they want pro as well. However that money really changed his family so to walk away from 750k-1mil is tough.
More updates as I find time to post. Be patient they are in great shape with some super players

He's looking at Luis staying as he's not going 1st round. Zuby coming back and being BE Player of the year. Prey, lefty and Ayo coming off the bench a lot more than this year and Dunlap being healthy and contributing off the pines.
Heavy recruiting for Kim's Hopkins.
Also adding that an unnamed NBA scout told him that Luis is good but will definitely NOT go 1st round and should stay for another year to hone his skills.
