SJU Portal Targets

He's looking at Luis staying as he's not going 1st round. Zuby coming back and being BE Player of the year. Prey, lefty and Ayo coming off the bench a lot more than this year and Dunlap being healthy and contributing off the pines.
Heavy recruiting for Kim's Hopkins.
Also adding that an unnamed NBA scout told him that Luis is good but will definitely NOT go 1st round and should stay for another year to hone his skills.
Sounds like the article reads our message board.

Sanon per Arizona Central

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard averaged 11.9 points and 3.4 rebounds. His season-high of 28 points came in a road loss at Utah. He averaged 18.8 points over the last five games of the season.

ASU head coach Bobby Hurley has called Sanon the best shooter he has ever coached. That showed before the true freshman was injured, as he was shooting 50% from three-point range.

He is from Fall River, MA. Which is stone's throw from Providence which is explains why many PC fans think he might be going to PC.

But no, SJU is the main player here.

The best shooter he has ever coached? Ok I'm sold.

1) St Johns has a DEEP NIL...they are not messing around. But pls remember so do a lot of other schools
2) 80/90% of kids who release lists of "interested schools" to reporters are lying. You will see SJ listed multiple times when they aren't. I just read a list of a kid im with where he said SJ ....SJ is has never contacted us. I wish.
3) Poaching is NOT a thing. When Dan said 50% of his roster is in contact with other schools hes low. And BTW they have contacted MANY kids on other rosters during this season. These kids get paid and are essentially FA on year-year deals. Like it or not over 80% of kids start understanding their value mid-season.
4) SJ will do VERY VERY well this off-season.
5) Current roster...tough and fluid. IN speaking with an NBA guy this morning he said"12 wasn't a pick last week and isn't now. We are in the win business so who gives a f**k about yesterday. He needs to go back"
6) Don't know where Bryce is thinking. He will cost and comes with risk but he can score, is a tough kid and he will bring a real edge to him
SJU79. Better than Xanax.

There was a guard who went out yesterday that they are after hard! Not in portal yet but....
Also RJ. And forgive if this has been already posted. I have spoken to ROC and they love the kid and his family. It will come down to finances. He is NOT a 1st rd pick. He will go to the combined but not expected to test off the charts and ARK aside questions he need to answer for next level. Does he want the 500K 2-way or does he want to come back, earn well over the 7fig mark and work on his game? I can say I think his agency wants him to go pro, take les snow but learn the pro game and get 24/7 coaching. They have talked to his parents and my understanding is they want pro as well. However that money really changed his family so to walk away from 750k-1mil is tough.
More updates as I find time to post. Be patient they are in great shape with some super players
In addition to what appears to be likely with Sanon, anyone create a list of guards from teams that lost yesterday? 😂

Yeah, that pushed me far over the edge too. Weird comment for Hurley to make in this NIL/Transfer era where good coaches should be practicing some defense. I want to not like Sanon, but the good looking stroke and Hurley's comment have left me with no choice.
Probably said it to help his draft prospects
