May not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but Dubar is ranked relatively high in the portal by (247Sports @ 32, & The Athletic, now #20). Wonder if our focus has shifted elsewhere or Nil$'s explain it?

I would assume we will get someone of equal or better ability. Looking forward to the roster construction.

I think there's been some chatter that Taylor 'iffy' and less likely than Luis to return.
Wonder if Rick would want AJ back?

There has to be a lot about him that RP likes as a player . Plus , when he committed he was just 17 years old .

European players are usually sound fundamentally , maybe not as creative or explosive as our kids in the US are … But , they have shown they can play .

Doubt Rick has any uncertainty about him , otherwise he wouldn’t have locked him up so far in advance .

One thing though . I have rarely seen many posts about what kind of year or player that Glover is ?

Likely not going to crack the starting lineup here , although RP has done that on occasion with Wilcher and Dunlap .

The portal is just getting started and until the Merry Go Round stops , we haven’t seen all the entrants yet .
Like last year , there will be some decommits, players moving due to new Coaches, etc

I’m in the group that is trying to understand how Clayton comes here ? Will it be more $$$ ?
What does St John’s offer him the Florida doesn’t ? Also , how high is he regarded right now by the NBA scouts ?

No one disputes he is a terrific player . Likely coveted by many programs if he enters the portal .

Is he that close to RP that he would return to NY ?

This off season is going to be interesting with player movement .

He comes here for RP. If his goal is to be a 1st rd pick he'll be here

That’s very fair. One of the very best talent evaluators here who doesn’t post much loves him but doesn’t think good fit here personally.

I’d love him here personally but you have every right to your opinion

I agree with that whole heartedly. I also worry what happens when Kadary and Luis are on the floor at the same time. Both lack three point shooting and enjoy making their own plays heading towards the basket. Not sure there is enough basketball to go around and would remind me too much of the Posh / Curbelo experiment from a couple of years ago. Granted these guys are supremely more talented than those two, but they look to be the same type of player.

Those 2 would be a great start and fill the 2 most critical needs imho. And while this past team was great at scoring points défense was clearly not our strength. Would love to see a much stronger defensive team going forward and Cliff and Joseph are the two starting points of that defensive oriented team.
 
aj knows that rock has repole money behind him.aj admits to touring for St. John's . A knows playing time just opened up and he proved himself. Let's face it if he comes back I would t mind

One of the members here who doesn't post often is a family member or close friend of Storr. Maybe Mug is friends with the poster. Not saying he is but you'd be shocked about which family members and friends have posted here past and present
