Was thinking if we get this kid will this affect Luis’s PT? And the North Texas kid?If this happens I'm going to Vegas and betting money on us winning it all.
But I'm also betting on losing Dunlap, Wilcher, and Luis to the portal next season.

Who knows. Can’t worry about that especially with a hall of fame coach who will only be here for a limited period of time. Our window is very narrow. We get this kid and on paper we are a Big East title contender. I’d take Dingle back in a heart beat as well.Good bet re: losing one of those.
Agree. Plus he’s graduating next year anyway, so not like their PT would be impacted by this in two years. Competition in practice would be fierce if this comes to fruition.Who knows. I said it before but havnt seen it anywhere officially - he should have 2 years. As unlikely as it may be for him to use them.Agree. Plus he’s graduating next year anyway, so not like their PT would be impacted by this in two years. Competition in practice would be fierce if this comes to fruition.

Could be but, in this era of college basketball, you only worry about building your team one year at a timeGood bet re: losing one of those.
Perhaps Jon’s tweet of RJ’s rebounding was foreshadowing.Watkins is very good, but he is a three. He is going to look to expand his perimeter game if he goes back to college — and he already spends a ton of time out there.
If we land him, some guys are going to have put the team ahead of themsleves to make it work.
If they are willing to do that, a frontline of Watkins-Scott-Luis could be insane with Smith/Wilcher and Richmond on the court to get more rebounding.
I understand if a player returns to school after going through the NBA workouts and being told what part of his game requires improvement.Watkins is very good, but he is a three. Scott signed.Did Scott sign? If not, wouldn't shock me if he starts having second thoughts if a player like Watkins comes aboard. Also think Dunlap is gone after this year if that happens. But worry about that when it happens and let's go all in on this season.
