South Florida F Kasean Pryor​

Intel: When Kasean Pryor hit the portal, he had college programs drooling over him. The 6-foot-10 forward has guard skills and is capable of getting his own bucket and spacing the floor, averaging 13.0 points and 7.9 rebounds per game this season.

Many schools have been tied to him, but I am hearing the most with Arkansas. Schools like St. John’s and Louisville have also been mentioned with him. Something to keep in mind is that he’s also exploring the NBA Draft process.
 
He's not going to the league. His ability to defend the high pick n roll is what has coaches excited. Don't know the kid and never seen him
play in person. . A lot of ppl i've spoken to rave about energy..keep hearing "upside" andpotential at the "all in" from Cal. What i'm hearing is decision soon with lean Ark but..would be a nice fit for what Rick needs

While his shot isn't the most aesthetically pleasing, he can hit it. His size would create another insane versatility avenue for our roster. He's a plus defender and is quick enough to guard multiple positions also.

Calipari vs Pitino for his services it seems. Would be quite the stamp on the portal season if we can close it out with him.

Dave, does Pryor have any sort of post up/interior game or is he primarily an outside player.

If he’s everything his talent is then I 100% agree. The size and skill set is exactly what we need IMO. But somethings just don’t show on a highlight tape. How a guy plays with others or handles time-and-score situations is hard to tell. That was the issue with Luis last year. I’ve seen Watkins play a bunch, I know he doesnt have those issues.

Pryor’s got all the talent in the world and as always it’s trust Pitino for me.

Watkins is getting drafted, and from everything I've been told he's staying in the draft as of now. He's also 6'7. We need a little more size given that's the profile or so of Luis, Scott, Dunlap, Glover already.

I write this post from my tent on the Great Lawn where I've begun my encampment village to demand St. John's divest all of its endowment funds from Tyson Foods especially from its subsidiary Big Az Burgers.

We plan to seize the Marillac Cafeteria later today, but I fear everyone will be grateful and will just leave us alone.

Has Kasean actually been on campus or MSG with Rick, or are there any imminent plans for a visit? Since it has been suggested that he will make a decision in the near future, if the answer is no then I think we are all people lost in a desert imagining an oasis up ahead!

Latest Trilly update was that he may not take any visits at all before making a decision.

Hmm, that sounds to me like he already has selected Arkansas! I trust Rick in recruiting once he gets to sell his vision and MSG in person. I think we need to root for Ledlum in court!
