Walter plays the 2 and is a volume scorer. Same position he played at Iona.
As I stated from day one, he is not usually the primary ball handler. Daniss Jenkins was at Iona and that is why Pitino was confident with the ball in his hands. If you look at the stats this year, you will notice the radical difference in assists.
Except for foul shooting, Daniss had better stats.
We need two very good point guards and two excellent shooting guards. Walter Clayton is not a priority.
This is literally all wrong.

He’s much more athletic than Alleyne and doesn’t need someone to set him up. Alleyne was a great positional defender..this kid will disrupt and take chances.

I think Joseph is a starter unless we reel in a very big fish
I took Moose to mean level of player. I’d like to do better bring in a starting caliber PG like Dug from Michigan.

I don’t think we had the personnel or the system for Alleyne to show the level of player he actually was. He should have stayed at UConn or went to a school like San Diego State or Houston. He played less for an NIT team he did for the NCAA champs and half as much as he did for the ACC champs.

Joseph fits this style and system well so I think we will get all he has to offer if he comes here…strengths and weaknesses.

You obviously were, and are not, familiar with Walter Clayton's game if you disagree.
Not that I'm sure specifically what it is you disagree with,🙄
He is a small 6'2 shooting guard. Dubar, at 6'8" has the same shooting range.
I prefer bigger guys who can shoot.

He’s a combo guard. Are you new to basketball? He plays on and off the ball and defends both positions well. He’s at his best attacking the basket.

He was a soph at Iona when he was last there and averaged 1.7 less assist than Jenkins. He was tasked with shooting more because he shot 43.1% from three. If you pull up any game from Iona they share the PG duties.

Pullen is more of a driver than shooter. He only averages 2.0 three-pt attempts a game and picks his spots like Glenn Taylor so naturally Clayton has to pick up that slack.
