We all agree College BB is “ rent a Player for 1 year at ridiculous $$$$.”
No one denies that Richmond is a excellent Player but , given his wandering Syracuse , SH and a mysterious sit out for 3 games last season , do we want that type player on our team ?
Or , have succumbed to everyone else and say , to hell with who we have wearing our Uniform ?

Richmond has played his hand to his advantage and for him personally , that’s a good strategy in the NIL era .
But , do we want a player who has some question marks , not as a Player but , as a teammate ?

Do we throw the remaking $$$ Nil money of him or , say we will pick someone else ?
To me , passing him by may not be the worst scenario . If RP is all about Character on his team is Richmond up to that ?

If Holloway couldn’t get him to play those 3 important BE games when he sat out , why would we think we can get him to fit here?
Those 3 games he sat out might have cost the Hall that NCAA bid , they deserved anyway but, his sitting out is not a good harbinger for us .
Today ,we hit signed Devion Smith a very good puck up .
Our needs now might be better served with a true PF and , not another Guard .

I realize most fans here feel differently about Richmond and that’s ok .

Some great points SLY, its character vs win at all costs. If you go back to several pages, I think you’ll see where most of this site stands. The real question is where does Pitino stand? He talks about players with character but also needs to win for his own psyche. The fact that he’s in pursuit of KR means he either thinks his character is ok or he doesn’t care.

The Hurley statement earlier this offseason resonates... something akin to: "we only recruit guys with Solid/firm foundation families around them".... if a player's inner circle is an issue- He doesn't want them.

Kadary is a 1st-team all conf player no matter what conf he ends up in... but is his seemingly 'unstable' circle he keeps worth it?
