Been saying even before his name was announced as in...this is the guy.
About Kim.. Love him. He's a great young man, Coach and leader. He's WAY WAY in the wrong here. Morally he's right, in practice he's wrong. And hypocritical might i add. Chalk it up as frustration..he'll grow and learn and his intentions were good

How do you like our chances up against West Virginia and Washington? Looks like West Virginia is about to get a commit from Jevon Small any day now, which would think they're out of the running.

Exactly.

The hypocrisy is mind blowing.

Empty sanctimony is so pathetic.

By the time Rick retires I may not be able to maintain my interest in college hoops with NIL/portal. Has gotten to point where it’s nauseating to go through. Linked to great player, get all excited, basically a lock…then…Charlie Brown attempts to kick football, ending up on his backside. We cannot compete with big football U.

last time that source shares anything him LOL, nvm kept reading :ROFLMAO:
robert de niro goodfellas GIF

You see hypocrisy. I see frustration, which I'm sure all of the coaches are feeling right about now. Can't imagine any coach thinking that a college job is anything but a 365 grind at this point, and the coaching of kids and games is the easy part.
Oh no I am sure he is legitimately frustrated.

But spare me the sanctimony not to mention the hypocrisy.

Please.

Meant to imply that folks do things they later regret out of frustration. We all do so while it was probably not a smart move I understand how it happened.

GET HIM!!!!! We cannot lose a player of this caliber to THOSE two schools!!!!
I agree Matt. I know it’s about the money and NIL but those two schools don’t have the potential roster that we will probably have and they don’t have a Hall of Fame coach. You can’t convince me that the situation will be better for Smith at either of those two schools. Unless the money and NIL is just so much better and then so be it. But, now that we know what the final three schools are we have to get this done.

Some Trilly updates:

Omier: "A couple other teams are trying to get involved. I've heard Louisville, Arkansas an Kansas State mostly. Not sure if there's real traction in any direction yet."

Smith: "TBD. Washington just hired a Utah assistant so I'd give an early nod to them."

Ledlum doing his due diligence by keeping his options open in case he wins his appeal and there's no room for him here. Smart
That is exactly how it is.

The only question is who is going to sign him to a scholarship until they know for sure he has eligibility.

No school is going to burn a schollie on a kid on the "hope" he may become eligible especially at the expense of another player they may be able to land.
