He will play point forward with two smaller guards on the court. I don't think he eats into Sim's minutes much, if at all, just his time with the ball in his hands. Then defensively Kadary guards the other teams 3 in man defense

I think he may be referring to Coach Pitino among others. There was a lot of Hopkins chatter early on which is why portaling within the same league is not a good idea.

I never thought we would get each of Kadary, Smith and Omier.. I’d be thrilled with Ledlum, Kadary and Smith and very excited with two out of the three. Can’t see us getting both Kadary and Smith though.

I think the most likely scenario is one of Kadary or Smith, likely the former, and a couple of “non-sexy” portal pickups that will lead to some fun debate on this board. I think Ledlum and Dingle are less than 50-50 propositions.

The worst would to be lose out on all of them, which unfortunately is very much a possibility.

Was there SJU interest in Hopkins if he was going to indeed be in the portal, from what I have gathered the answer was yes. But we were also led to believe for over a month that Hopkins was definitely going into the portal. Believe nothing.

Everyone knows everything...everyone has sources...and 99.9% of them are BS to try and be cool, be first and get internet points.

Reality of the internet world we live it, never more so than this stupid transfer portal era. Where somehow random people on the internet know more than the staff's of the actual teams.

Don't know what's more sad, the amount of people trying to "break news", spread that news, or the people who believe the news. Credibility doesn't matter anymore.

Hopkins name originally and early was tossed around much closer to “home” and will leave it at that.
 


FYI -- Javon Small seems like he's heading to WVU based on a recent on3 article. Could be down to Washington and us. Washington hired a Utah assistant.
