These are good updates. The center must not be Vince, otherwise just post the name. At least that’s my read.

No one is going to post a name when the player is on a visit to another school, just common respect and decency. And I know nothing about any commitments, just a general statement.

Assume Scott, Vince followed by a big need, PG, in next few weeks makes you happy. Smith would be huge.

Let’s just say all of that happens + Mitchell (), it would allow the staff to hone in one guy to solve our spacing / 3pt issue…

Unless Smith or Luis develop a consistent 3 point shot this off-season I don’t know how a lineup of Smith, Luis, Mitchell and Zuby/Vince is going to score in the half court even with a shooter in that last spot. All of those players are very good individually but together they would be pretty easy to guard

Is 40% from 3pt not good enough? I think the staff would have to trust his leap was real last year. Also, Pitino has said Wilcher was the teams second best three point shooter last year + Dunlap.

Still think we would be in the market for one more three point shooting guard anyway.

I agree but Brea played the 3 last year and think that’s what will continue to happen wherever he goes.

We do have Glover coming in and from what I've read seems like a a pretty good contributor for a freshman but he's still a freshman, as I've said so many times before we got Ricky P, I trust him and we do need another veteran guard as well...... Go Johnnie's!

Want to make it clear I’m not anti Smith in any way. I think he’d be a great pickup. This is moreso about Mitchell at the 4 which would already have three starters (Luis, Mitchell, Zuby) that don’t threaten the defense with 3 point shooting

We’d still have Lefteris, Glover, Dunlap and possibly Scott. All very good shooters.
