Vince was a top prospect coming out of high school. He had the cardiac event and then got injured. If you watch the video of him he’s very athletic and looks like a kid who would have no trouble guarding pick and roles etc. How many times did we get killed on that this past season. He block shots and can be a rim protector. If he’s healthy, for a modest NIL I think he’s a steal.

+ USC was an unmitigated mess. Not like he was in a great position to exceed. Him and Zuby being teammates can also make the PF/C combo an easier transition as well.

Also like the idea of adding some non-5th year/seniors, so Rick can potentially keep them an additional year if he wants them. Keep stacking talent
 
I forgot this is the guy with the cardiac stuff and back injury and surgery. I guess I can see some trepidation based on that history but it also seems like him playing all of last year that stuff is behind him.
 
Remember last year we had the slow rollouts for commitments. And when the announcements came we had press releases and info already prepared and ready for that day. Safe to assume staff doesn’t get as nervous as us and has things locked up before an actual announcement from the kid.

No sources but just feel like that shipped has sailed. Think they got too cute for the staffs liking but maybe my tea reading is bad.

But I’d love nothing more than Rick Pitino calling Cliff while on Georgetown’s campus and clinching the deal, unbeknownst to Cooley.

These are good updates. The center must not be Vince, otherwise just post the name. At least that’s my read.

And since staff knows the goings on on this board they’re probably laughing at our angst. 😊
