SJU Portal Targets

Trilly entered our thread today after someone questioned if he's having a hard time getting info from us, lol.

"I wish I could show you who I talk to multiple times a week. There’s just not much to share right now." -- I definitely trust him on this, but feel free to call me naive.

Someone asked who are the 2-3 guys we're targeting. He said: "Cliff, Koby, Boogie to start. They passed on Bensley. They passed on Pope. Just being picky." He also said we're targeting Roach.

Keep the faith people!

Passing up on Pope and Bensley is a great sign.

Us going after Boogie is still very surprising to me based on what everyone else says here. Don't kill the messenger. lol

Boogie's name should be banned on here until there is confirmation of mutual interest. :)
 
I know we all would love for commits already but I am so glad we did not jump at the first guys that we were mentioned with legitimately. That should tell us all that this staff is cooking up something that I think even we will be happy with as a collective group.

Guys like Jeremy Roach going into the portal is another reason St. John's can't jump the gun. I was told yesterday afternoon SJU would be involved there, and then he goes into the portal in the evening and SJU is one of the first names associated with him. I know this fan base is not patient, and I understand everyone wants players and news to talk about. But this is just another example of allowing this staff to evaluate the whole pool.

I think most of us are reasonably patient, but it would be nice if we could have just one comit soon for us to talk about.

I'm literally shocked Trilly mentioned him as a guy we're pursuing. Just seems consistent with every single person on this board with credible intel that he has no intentions of staying home/being here.
