But I honestly would want that money to go to Roach right now, because if Fland popped for us, money would literally be the only reason and I don't think his heart wouldn't be in it.

With NBA dream entering the home stretch, I think Roach would want that Pitino coaching (along with the cash) and have more invested in being here.

I think a guy like Roach immediately raises the floor on this team big time + super high character kid that can be a leader Day 1. I also think he had a really crowded backcourt at Duke, which made it difficult to stand out game-to-game. Yet impressive he can also fit in as well as he did and put up those efficient numbers.

Roach was one of the top players on an elite eight team. That is pretty good.

Roach would be everything we wanted Dingle to be. Roach and Kriisa would be pretty similar to Kriisa and Courtney Ramey two years ago at Arizona. Two guys that could handle, pass and shoot. I'd feel far better about Kriisa if he was paired with a steady 5th year high level guy like Roach.

That said, I'd be pretty shocked if we landed Roach. He's going to be very expensive especially since he's a guy coaches with depleted rosters like Pope, Calipari and Neptune can immediately build their roster around.

I know WVU was bad last year, but that's still the Big 12, so I'd be thrilled with Kriisa.

Having lateral transfers is very important. Much less of an adjustment for them, in terms of competition.
