You sound like a man who has had to make some hiring decisions. If you have a good employee retention is almost always cheaper than new hire/training. I'm not advocating keeping or letting RJ go, just admiring your business savvy.
Thanks. Appreciate it. I have. Definitely tricky and not simple as having one $ figure. Institutional knowledge and chemistry in a workplace is very valuable and usually undervalued.

Dubar sounds like he is a college version of the Knicks’ OG. If he does the similar by spreading the floor due to the ability to hit outside shots, along with using his length to be a lockdown perimeter defender, then I am all in.

No pressure kid.😁
OG is doing it on NBA level Dubar isn’t close to an OG even on Hofstra’s level. Once again some people will fall in love with whomever we get and think they’re the greatest thing since sliced bread and then will see them play and start trashing them. (Not directed at you Kranmars or Teddy Oberman).

“College version” ie same positional skill and utilization.

I do he is nowhere near the all around player OG is and I DON’T just mean it on a talent level I mean it on his skill set.
A big wing who can switch defensively and score as a perimeter shooter that’s not the primary scorer or creator.

That’s both of them.

That’s two skills. OG also runs the court, can score on 3 levels, handles ball, passes and plays great team defense not just switching. Also a much better athlete. In short does EVERYTHING well and I didn’t know much about him until he came to the Knicks and has been quite a revelation to most Knick followers.

Plus the deflections, blocks, leaking out on fast break. He can switch 1 through 5, not only 2 through 4.

Hey, I hope Dubar is OG, but that is the highest compliment I can give a player right now. He's the first NBA player since Vince Carter that I want to get a jersey of.

Yeah he’s great. Wasn’t the original posters point. No one is saying Dunbar is a 100 million dollar nba player. Saying he is a college version of him. Which means they play similar roles and have relative skill sets. If he had all those skills at the same level as OG, then he would be his equal, not a college version of him.

It’s you that doesn’t get what I’m saying. Please see dk423 😉

Ha! Ha! A couple of things: for one I just said his game sounds like OG, not comparing them.

Secondly (and more importantly) I never called him, “my good friend Darlinstone Dubar.”
