I'm not even asking this sarcastically. Does Dubar have a defensive reputation, and is he known as a glue type of guy? Hofstra/STJ was the one game this year I did not watch.
Ok so if he can run the court and score on three levels (last year more than OG at the COLLEGE level) and play help defense, then you’ll concede he’s a college version of him? It’s not that deepIt’s you that doesn’t get what I’m saying. Please see dk423![]()
Then go watch it
First let me just say you and kranmars are two great posters. I don’t like arguing with player’s dads so let me end by saying Whatever you say Mr Dubar.Ok so if he can run the court and score on three levels (last year more than OG at the COLLEGE level) and play help defense, then you’ll concede he’s a college version of him? Wondering what makes you say that. I’m not familiar but from his numbers doesn’t seem like a can’t miss. This is the only guy I think we have to get no matter what it takes.
Trust me the apple fell Dubar from the treeFirst let me just say you and kranmars are two great posters. I don’t like arguing with player’s dads so let me end by saying Whatever you say Mr Dubar.![]()
I think we need higher level transfers - especially among front court players. Backcourt is young but potentially good. However, I’d take the super quick kid from Michigan who killed us this year.Right. Not a guard. Carlos and Thomas starting guards for Hofstra. Good at Hofstra level don’t think he is impact player we need . Rotation player I guess ok based off seeing him in person twice and on TV few more times.

I never heard of him until a few minutes ago. He's probably the next Kolek, because what do I know, but I was just joking around. I also was excited to get Curbelo and Jones, so I'm not a great portal evaluator even when I'm being serious.Wondering what makes you say that. How about Sir Dominick Porter?Darlington Dubar only contends with Marcellus Earlington as the most royal sounding.
Trilly has referred to a lot of big names as late portal entries around the NBA draft deadline. Important for all of us to remember.Aside from Cliff hopefully entering and being wrapped up soon, I think the rest of these names are the CYA phase of the portal.
Think we are waiting for big names to enter.

key change from last year that I think is a tactical "adjustment" from the staff. Pitino is a competitive SOB. He's going to take his time and make sure he gets the roster right this year. It may not feel this way now, but it is huge for us that Hurley has beaten him 4 times in a row now. He isn't going to a rest until he has a roster that can look UConn in the eyes and beat them. Just the way he is wiredAside from Cliff hopefully entering and being wrapped up soon, I think the rest of these names are the CYA phase of the portal.

See dk423 responded. Yeah, he turns 18 in August. This isn’t a portal question but feel it’s pertinent to this thread/playing time. How old is the Greek kid? He’s not a true freshman right?
