SJU Portal Targets

I totally get what Logen’s reasoning is. I’d be all in for Kadary personally and my logic would be he played hard in NIT and if I were entering the portal I’d want nothing to do with the NIT. Heck in a fan and I want nothing to do with the NIT . So that showed me something
When he plays, he plays hard.

Just don't bounce his check and we'll be fine. 😁

Not concerned about Kadary’s personality at all. Effort on the court has never been an issue for him. He probably would have been due for a nice NIL deal elsewhere last year but I guess SHU found enough change between the couch cushions to stop him from portaling. When he wasn’t getting what was promised to him he sat out as any reasonable person with a spine would do.

The fit concerns have been beaten to death but if Rick has a plan for his he’ll fit in with the rest of the roster that’s good enough for me

Looks like Pitino had offered him when he was hired at Iona. Had quite a few high major offers & went to Wake Forest for 2 years with little to show stat wise before bigger # at Georgia St.

His stats🤢

You can speculate on why Kadary was out all you want. Here are facts, we haven’t been to an NCAA tournament in 6 years. We haven’t won a NCAA tournament game in nearly 25 years. And half this board is making up reasons why we should be worried about recruiting a First Team All Big East player. It makes zero sense.
It makes perfect sense because you need more than talent to win. I value character and think it makes a huge difference in building a winning team and culture. I don‘t admire or respect quitters regardless of talent and will not root for one. You feel differently and that is what makes the world go round. We just disagree.

I guess you can take this one of two ways: he's a fierce competitor who, in his youth, doesn't always know how to comport himself. Or he's got real character issues. Don't know.
