ESPN used to site the coaches poll all the time, but they dropped their endorsement of it last year, and are back to citing the writers/media poll (maybe because Dick Vitale has a vote in it).

I personally think the writers poll carries more credibility. Some coaches who vote, probably leave it to an assistant, or worse, a student manager to actually fill out the ballot. Plus, coaches are so focused on their own teams (and rightfully so), that I personally don't think they should be in the business of evaluating others.

Light schedule of games this week. The teams directly in front of us seem to mostly have a relatively easy opponent. Clearly, SJU needs to take care of business first, but doesnt appear to be much room for upward mobility in the rankings for next week, outside of a meaningful upset

Light schedule of games this week. The teams directly in front of us seem to mostly have a relatively easy opponent. Clearly, SJU needs to take care of business first, but doesnt appear to be much room for upward mobility in the rankings for next week, outside of a meaningful upset

At 11pn Tulane @ Washington on Pac12n i believe.
This game will show us what Tulane has. I'm expecting a 13-15pnt loss.
We'll see tonight if Tulane is for real.
