Shamorie Ponds

Hoping the week off between Depaul and Xavier will give Shamorie a chance to rest up and get rid of lingering issue with his hand and get mentally recharged for a big last game against Xavier and a great run in the BET. We'll see.
Really need to find a way to win tomorrow though.

Is there anything that can be done about so many defenders hip checking Shamorie on drives with no fouls called? I am from the era when the guy who hip checked your vital point guard wound up in the third row of seats. That seems not to work with five out and Earlington not in the game.

I agree NCJ
Frustration and his hand issue
Hope for the best
In the remaining games
And with his future plans
whatever Shamorie decides
He’s been a fine Redman
A pleasure to watch!
As our program turns the corner

All the best

Problem is we may have turned the corner heading in the wrong direction down a one way street. ;) :)

Ponds, Simon, and Clark really deserve a lot of credit getting the program where it is. Clark selfishly played out of position 85% of the time, Simon always defends the opposing teams best player, and Ponds... well he is magic.

What position do people think Clark should play? He’s a 4/5 in college. He is the worst perimeter defender on the team.

Sixth man.

Funny but that would keep him out of foul trouble longer.

...in the dead of night, no headlights on and driving blindfolded...
Okay, okay, I’ve drunk the hemlock...but would love to find an antidote!
Lol.

When he plays well he is fine, when he plays poorly he is hurt. Simple math.

That sums up a lot of athletes these days. Every bad game has to have an excuse.

Except he played well in the game. Him and Figueroa were the only ones playing well. Shamorie does that when HE plays bad. Not the team.

It wasn't until 2 minutes were left in the 1st half when he scored and that was only his 2nd attempt. Even at that point he only had 1 assist so its not like he was being a distributor. He was deferring. The all too common disappearing act has happened too many times. Yes he turned it on right after with an unconscious stretch. Where leads of wherever today peaked could have been more. That's where my frustration with him lies.

A tiny floor burn. Poor baby.[/quote]

Rumor has it you had blisters on your palm like the from your teens, extending well into adult years. Streaming services don't make it any better. :eek:hmy:
