He's going to the D-league or Europe, and I think he knows that. He probably is holding out hope that he gets drafted in the 2nd round, but I think for the most part he knows he's starting outside the NBA.

Can he make a decent buck in the D-league or in Europe? I really don't know the pay scales for those two options.

This kid is getting some VERY bad advice... what a joke!!!
Sampson is an injury away from being just another schmuck headed straight to the NBDL... Thanks for nothin son!
Maybe he acted against advice.

The amount of poor advice this kid is getting is saddening.
This guy has only represented 2 NBA players- Marshon Brooks and Ricky Ledo. Funny it's 2 Providence players. One who never even suited up and obviously Ledo was urged against even trying to see if he'd be eligible for his Soph year.
The guy probably comes at a cheap price. But with the amount of NBA connections and outlets Jakarr has, you would think he'd be a bit more diligent. This guy is responsible for all of Jakarr's predraft workouts and meetings.
I was turning optimistic of Jakarr actually making it but this just looks like a rushed and terrible decision just like him forgoing his Jr year. This has D-League bench warmer written all over it.
There is hope for Karr
@RealGM: 14 undrafted players from the 2013 class have played in the NBA this season.
For Jakarr, which agent he picked does not matter. The day he declared, was the beginning of the end for him. He will, at absolute best, have a ten year career in Europe. He will then return to the US (with no college degree) and have to get a job.
Like most of us, I watched evey game Jakarr played over the past two years. Over the past four weeks (conference play and NCAA tourney), I have seen many, many players who are more developed than him. As previously posted, I realized while watching the UCONN/Iowa St. game, that Jakarr would have been the 7th best player (just in that game alone!).
Jakarr seemed like a nice/happy kid, so I hope for the best. However, he also seems like an over excited immature kid who couldn't wait to run into the candy store. Bad move, Jakarr. If you stayed two more years, you probably could have cracked the 1st round and made $3 million over the first two years.
Sorry......dem da facts.

If Sampson has a 10 year career in Europe, especially in either Spain, Italy, or France, then his decision to leave college would have been worth it. They make very good money, he gets to travel in beautiful countries with gorgeous women. There are worse things in life.
