In the race for BE rookie of the year, Jordan is closing down the stretch...Probably a bit behind but has a shot

I don't think he is behind at all anymore. I think he is clear in the lead. The DePaul guys have tailed off with the team as well and will split votes between them.

Who's this guy on Nova that won rookie of the week a few times? Is he eligible for the award? I read that it has to go a freshmen or a 1st year transfer. Not sure if he qualifies.

I was just judging by total rookie of the week awards...

Josh Hart maybe?
He's playing 21 mpg averaging 7 ppg and 4 rpg with 1 apg. I didn't think transfers were eligible so eliminating Dylan Ennis of Nova.

Yep. Josh Hart. He won the weekly rookie award three times I think, but he's dropped off lately. Jordan won the weekly three times so far?

No way 98 is Zags...

Zags went to Wesleyan and then Columbia's school of journalism. Definitely not St. John's

I did hear he reads and might occasionally post on the board.

99.9 percent certain he does not post.
99.9 percent certain he reads the site. As he should

I just thought it was strangely coincidental that not 4 hours after I post, " Rysheed Jordan's ceiling is so much damned higher than Jackson's it's sick", that Zags publishes an article on Jordan that contained within the title that "his ceiling is much higher".

I hadn't started rooting for SJU when Jackson was there. pretty much started right after Jackson in 88. Boo was my favorite with Barkley 2nd.

The Jordan I'm seeing now is real exciting. Another year and his game could be limitless. Just hope he doesn't leave too early

It's crazy how often that happens with Zags. The same day you see a rumor or a long thread on a topic, you see a Zags post an article addressing the rumor or the subject of the topic. He get paid to do what posters all around the country do for free...the only thing he does is call a recruit/coach/family member or cite anonymous sources.

The thing that is quickly happening with Jordan is that every time he touches the ball you are inclined to watch closely because something spectacular might happen, something you may have never seen before.

Hey, enough with hyperbole. ;)

THe other day someone posted wondering if diallo would be at the gtown game. Shortly after zags tweeted he wasn't. Coincidence? Probably not.

In fairness, I directly tweeted him. Not a big fan of this cub reporter for Daily Planet, but fair is fair. Lol
