Rothstein in the house
For the love of God please disable the quote function Paul! My finger is in spasm! Does anyone really think we re-read the last ten posts we just read? Just post your new post we get it is and on going discussion.
People just need to stop endlessly quoting on top of quotes. Let's declare proper etiquette is to not quote after three posts have been quoted.
Not saying we will make the Sweet 16 or that if we did it wouldn't be time to pop champagne on here. I would be ecstatic right next to the rest of you. But my point was that the way things are playing out, we have no true impact recruits coming for 2019 and even if we have a great season, we could easily be back in the 8-10 hole in conference the following year because of it. I just want some continuity with the program but of course first we have to win again. There seems to be a glass ceiling of 21 wins for the program overall and 10-8 in conference. We need to shatter that. Still hoping we have a great season, but not sure Mullin will want to stay regardless.
How come if we don't get a top 50 high school senior that we're back to ground zero. My question is why would we drop down to basically last place when we're probably losing 2 players (unless someone transfers)? You have 2 division 1 players coming in. David Caraher will help fill the Marvin Clark role, and Eli Wright will help an already strong backcourt, even without Ponds. You'll have Roberts, Williams and Earlington with a season of college under their belt. Ponds is a great player and won't be easy to replace, however we'll still have plenty of talent and plenty of depth. I feel a winning season, a dance appearance and a projected first round pick will bring in one of the remaining targets come the spring. I don't know why you and others don't see the upward projection since Mullin has been here. Everything is doom and gloom.
