Uhhhhhh an actual 3 point shooting two guard. And yes the team is doing well undoubtedly but if you don’t see the benefit of having an outside shooter like Danis, you must have missed last season.
In fact you may have missed it but coach Pitino stated that while this years group is superior defensively, he stated that last years group was much better offensively at this point in the season for which he credited his back court’s shooting prowess.

So am I. Let’s hope Smith is healthy cause with his injury his shoiting has been way off. Going to need that against the upcoming teams.

I hope there's not some drastic 3 point regression coming his way soon because he has been absolutely on fire from 3 lately, makes him and the team completely unguardable when he's making shots like this

Because SJU has made so many fans with their tenacious defense and grit, even NBA scouts want to see SJU be in the best position possible to go for a consecutive championship.
he will be. He'll impress some team in a work out.
Enjoy the last days of RJ in red/white... sometimes blue... it's been fun

After last 5-7 games I’m assuming he will be gone. Love RJ attitude and his game so wish him the best even if it is a detriment to next years team.
This... just like NFL... NBA teams conduct interviews as well- RJ certainly comes across as a high character kid, couple that with high level athleticism/motor, improvement in shooting- he's gonna be an amazing pick for one of those Quality teams at the end of the first round of the Draft.
