No love for Kadary? Does his game fit the NBA?
I think in a recent NBA game the two teams shot over 100 threes. The NBA is three happy, for Bigs, for guards for everyone. They don't just have 3 point specialists, everybody is expected to hit threes.

For those reasons, I do not watch the NBA anymore except for an occasional Knick game (until Dolan pulled them off Optimum).

For those reasons unfortunately Kadary's game probably doesn't fit today's NBA.

He's a throwback, his game would have fit nicely into the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's NBA.

Not alone, but to some degree, Steph Curry changed everything, with long range bombs, well beyond the line.

I feel bad for Kadary, his dream is playing in the NBA, he said so recently.

I hope he stays another year, Put on some muscle and refine his shooting.
For the NBA he's go to get his jump shot out further, he takes mostly college twos, sometimes college 3s, but rarely NBA threes.

Work on his slashing too, refine it so it's not into traffic and double teams so much.

RJ Luis Jr. Featured on ‘This Week in the BIG EAST’ Radio Show

St. John’s 6-foot-7 wing from Miami joined hosts John Rooke and Kevin McNamara on Westwood One Radio

QUEENS, N.Y. (Feb. 21, 2025) –
St. John’s junior RJ Luis Jr. is featured on ‘This Week in the BIG EAST’, presented by Westwood One, ahead of St. John’s matchup with RV/RV UConn on Sunday at Madison Square Garden. The 6-foot-7 wing from Miami has starred for the No. 10/9 Red Storm this season, helping the team to a 23-4 overall record and sole possession of first place in the conference standings with a 14-2 mark in BIG EAST play.

Luis joins Westwood One Radio hosts John Rooke and Kevin McNamara to discuss this 2024-25 season, which has featured numerous milestones that the program has not reached in decades under the leadership of Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Head Coach Rick Pitino.

Ronnie Zeidel, a veteran agent and the owner of RZA sports, said Luis would be better off returning to St. John’s next season given the current NIL situation where St. John’s has the backing of billionaire Mike Repole.

“He’s gonna make 10 times as much money in college as he’s going to make in the pros,” said Zeidel, who attended the St. John’s media session Friday.

“I think it’s a no-brainer but who knows what he’s thinking, what his family is thinking.”

What are we thinking as far as RJ winning Big East player of the year? Or is this default going to Kalkbrenner? Kam Jones has fallen back a bit it seems.
