"the last pick in the second round of last year's draft, Chris Livingston, got a four-year deal from the Milwaukee Bucks worth $7.6 million in total and included $3.01 million guaranteed."

I think he’ll get a mid second round grade with some reservations about his shins. Teams want near-finished products at his age as well.

A little over 2 mill in NIL might get him back so he can complete his game and prove his health.

Makes more sense for RJ to take four years at $8 million with $4 million guaranteed. Hes proven his health this season. Dont see how staying increases his value unless he finds a way to shoot 37% from 3 next year. He could also potentially get reinjured if he stays which would crush his value.

NBA draft net has him at top of 2nd round

A lot depends on how St John's and RJ perform during the remainder of the season. His situation reminds me of Donte DuVincenzo of Villanova in 2018. Donte was not at the top of any draft boards during the year. However his performance during the post season lead to him being drafted #17 by Milwaukee. Would love to see the same for RJ.

This mock draft has Knicks taking both RJ & Walter Clayton in the second round. Apparently they have 2 first round and 2 second round picks.

You think we are going to be paying $2 million for one player next year?

Definitely not out of the question
I may be wrong, but I thought Richmond was the highest paid player on the roster this year, at approximately $1 million. So we're going to double that next year? If so, this really is getting out of control.
