I know Maher is an elitist, but I am looking forward to being recognized as an elite paragrapher. Kranmars should be entitled to distribute elite paragrapher attaboys as he sees fit.

I been saying for many many years we should have gotten Rick Pitino as our coach! Finally. Always read redmen.com always a fan of you all! Steve Lavin was a great coach and surprised we let him go. This is a dream come true! I think we can actually win now! Can't wait to have fun here again!

Rick got a shout out on PTI yesterday for his recruiting acumen
They mentioned that we had just got a commitment from Dingle, the #2 scorer in the nation last year
One of the guys called Rick "The Deon Sanders of college basketball" for landing so many players so quickly

We went from not even getting a sniff at the NIT to a NCAA top-25 team in 2 months. Magic of Rick. Remember the guys crying 2 months ago oh no we didn't get a commitment yet, only Iona kids. Dont hear those posters anymore now lol Congrats Rick now you get to breathe a little bit
Not after the first loss. If SJU is down nine to two after three minutes of game one that group of posters will start in.

Anderson was fine for first 2 years, then he couldn't do any thing right according to the majority here.

We haven't played a freaking game and he was being criticized was my point.
I've done my fair share of complaining over the years. I've also made predictions that were off. One notable wrong prediction was that Wheeler would do little or nothing here. I was glad to admit that I was wrong. What I don't get are the incessantly negative posters who run and hide when things don't turn out how they predicted. Only to then reappear when things aren't going well .

People who criticize Saban are morons though.
the buzz about the team now is palpable. Early this morning on WFAN I heard them speaking about St. John's and the signings by Pitino, especially Dingle (whose name is fodder for radio). Even if they want to have fun with Dingle's name, it is unheard of to hear about St. John's basketball in May, more than 5 months before the season even starts. This is great!
