Or, simply Pitino. Besides, if you go to other teams message boards; many of 'em are using the abbreviation for their respective coach (ie, CHD for Hubert Davis, CEC, Ed Cooley). Kinda cheesy IMO.Plus I work in medicine and CRP is short for C-Reactive Protein and I can’t get that out of my head. I’m going with RickyP
I will repeat, he should be addressed as Mr. Pitino.Or, simply Pitino. Besides, if you go to other teams message boards; many of 'em are using the abbreviation for their respective coach (ie, CHD for Hubert Davis, CEC, Ed Cooley). Kinda cheesy IMO.
Pitino works for me (like Anderson, as I called Mike Anderson, before him).
Guessing gomba, paisan or cugine are out of the question?I will repeat, he should be addressed as Mr. Pitino.
No abbreviations.

The only missing element separating a great from perfect story are paragraphs. Was working on a movie in Edison NJ today and met a young actor on set from Des Moines. Lives on UWS now. Went to U of Iowa as did his entire family. We got to talking college sports and the conversation quickly turned to Rick and SJU. This kid may have been more excited about the Pitino hire then I was. He uttered ever single word I've ever said: basically that he loves college basketball(And football) and would love for NYC to have an exciting SJU team so that he and his buddies could go to MSG and watch exciting college basketball. Said that an exciting SJU is good for the Big East and for college basketball all over the country. I was blown away at how much Big East basketball this kid knew. We talked about Cooley going to GT, etc etc. Anyhow it was great to hear all this from a kid who did not grow up here, but is now on the SJU bandwagon.

Something about posting on a message board, especially when pontificating as I often do, feels like telling a story at a bar. (using a setting Mike Maher is most comfortable in).The only missing element separating a great from perfect story are paragraphs.
Double spacing. Show off.Something about posting on a message board, especially when pontificating as I often do, feels like telling a story at a bar. (using a setting Mike Maher is most comfortable in).
When doing so, and you're as excited to tell your story as I was, you barely pause at all.
In other words, just be thankful I even use periods and commas.
PS Glad you still managed to enjoy the story
Take that!!!Double spacing. Show off.

Yep you are both right and it's cheaper than being at a barWhen my wife asks why I spend so much time here I tell her it's like being at a bar with a bunch of St Johns fans so Monte hit the nail on the head.
