Rick Pitino - Head Coach at St John’s University!!!

Rick said yesterday that “we are hoping that Carnessecca is going to be renovated immediately, if so we need to play more games there”. He also said that the MSG games should be played only on the weekends. I think that you could expand the building on both sides behind the baskets to add additional seating ( the Little theater might need to be demolished and rebuilt somewhere else on campus) and then add real seats replacing most of the bleacher seating. You might lose seats by swapping out the bleachers for real seats, but I would be happy with a capacity of 6000-7500 with real seats. Of course the ticket prices would go up but I would save money since I would no longer need to see a chiropractor the day after a game!
I believe Alumni Hall or someone posted that they had looked at expanding in the end zones but a study showed it wasn’t feasible or cost prohibitive.

My take on Soriano aligns with Rick somewhat. If Soriano kept going 20/12 we are probably a bad team.

These new Johnnies have a loy of bullets in their holster, and Soriano not being the center of the offense have allowed Jenkins, Dingle, Ledlum and cast members Taylor, Luis, Zuby and more recently Wilcher to flourish. Don't count Alleyne or Dunlap either. They still may log big time cameos before it's all in the books.

We are winning, damn it, and Soriano has been on the floor. They are winning in part because of him and not in spite of him.

Let's go nail down a bid. I'll go anywhere except Omaha.

I wish Joel would get back on defense..even when the opposing center doesn't sprint so he can be a rim protector against the other teams break.
I’ve seen our guys running along side their man for the length of the court with the offensive player with their shoulder ahead of our guy and he goes in for a layup. Two worst offender of this have Joel and RJ. If they haven’t already wish our coaches would tell our players in that situation to forget closely guarding the guy and just sprint back to get ahead of their man and then pick him up.
