Rick Pitino - Head Coach at St John’s University!!!

Zach is good dude. Doesn’t make up crap like those too Zags sources are two folks working the coat closet. Martino missed his calling as jizz mopper at Go Go Rama in Bayonne.
Martino does look like a doll that somehow came to life.

SNY producer before Martino goes live:

What I really love about Rick is that he is all in helping raise NIL funds and helping SJU market the school and basketball program. This isn't a passive endeavor on his part. He regularly sits in on marketing meetings and his footprint has been much bigger than just coaching the team.

Before the season I was at an NIL event where Rick spoke. He said something to the effect of, "If you guys have an idea for raising NIL funds, let me know. I'll help any way I can."

True to his words. So much bigger than just a great coach. Relationship oriented person.

During Butler game announcers noted that a lot of friends/supporters from his Louisville and Kentucky days made the trip to root for us.

We are a lot luckier than we even know. Rick has the energy of a 30 year old.

Rick said yesterday that “we are hoping that Carnessecca is going to be renovated immediately, if so we need to play more games there”. He also said that the MSG games should be played only on the weekends. I think that you could expand the building on both sides behind the baskets to add additional seating ( the Little theater might need to be demolished and rebuilt somewhere else on campus) and then add real seats replacing most of the bleacher seating. You might lose seats by swapping out the bleachers for real seats, but I would be happy with a capacity of 6000-7500 with real seats. Of course the ticket prices would go up but I would save money since I would no longer need to see a chiropractor the day after a game!

This sounds great the question I always have is what’s the ballpark budget looking like to do this to CA?

I can guarantee you this would be a gigantic spend. To make ca more comfortable the upper bleachers have to be torn apart since they are concrete.

If those seqts are made more comfortbale we will lose capacity. I am sure we did a feasibility engineering study of the building when Cragg arrived and expanding behind the baskets wasn't viable though i don't remember why.

I.would imagine to do an expansion in capacity plus comfortable seating in bleachers would cost maybe as much as 50-75 million.

I have to bring the chiropractor with me to the game.
