I’m gonna guess and say they are impulse shoppers as well.Yet many on this board would rather see him maybe reach his potential on another team. SMDH

Watch the end of this game again. Luis won this game down the stretch with his defense and offense.Luis can drive you crazy but he can also win you a game. Lack of talent is no issue. A true rollercoaster player.
I’m in agreement in case that is notWatch the end of this game again. Luis won this game down the stretch with his defense and offense.
Got it. (Was intended for the legion of RJ bashers who were calling for not bringing him back next year. Just jumped on your thread because it was there.)I’m in agreement in case that is not
Coming through.
Well we've been so good for the better part of the last 25 years that we can easily afford to cast aside a talented player.Got it. (Was intended for the legion of RJ bashers who were calling for not bringing him back next year. Just jumped on your thread because it was there.)
Rick not assuming shit, grab the next one mentality
I think it would be good for board activity if Luis is gone next year. The “Keeping Up with Old Friends” thread will remain relevant with high major starters, we can always second guess roster construction, and bring him up whenever we miss someone having the ability to take over a game. And he will become beloved here from that day forward.
No, we watched his nonsensical play. We saw his talent used negatively, not positively which was the case down the stretch big time today. I have seen tons of players with talent who never developed and came anywhere close to maximizing it.I’m gonna guess and say they are impulse shoppers as well.
Luis is a difference maker. We need him to play like he did in the second half. Great defense, some decent passes and some nice baskets. All I want is Luis to play within the team framework.
He is ultra talented but hero ball, which he can fall into at times, is not in the team’s best interest in getting to that next level that you see consistently at Creighton and Marquette.
Much like in Butler game there was another fast break yesterday in the 1st half where he clearly had teammate wide open for layup but took a contested attempt, lucky to be saved by ref whistle.
All valid observations. No, we watched his nonsensical play. We saw his talent used negatively, not positively which was the case down the stretch big time today. I have seen tons of players with talent who never developed and came anywhere close to maximizing it.
People, including me, present opinions at points in time in venues like this, and can be wrong. Luis had a tremendous 5 minute stretch that gave a glimpse of what he could be, that I take as a “what might be” not a “what is” and said so.
Finally, this board has been a living embodiment of the over estimation of players abilities and potential for decades.
I have to realize that before I can keep it in mind! My bad, you got me………’s on me!All valid observations.
Keep in mind the post you responded to was said tongue in cheek.
All good. At the end of the day we are all on the same team.I have to realize that before I can keep it in mind! My bad, you got me………’s on me!
