But we can agree the Jesuits are loaded.Calipari coaching at GT is about as crazy as Pitino coaching SJU. In all seriousness, Cal making almost 9 Mil per year. The Jesuits ain't coming close to that.

9 Mil per year can buy a lot of happiness lolIs he as happy as he can be though? Brings in a top class every year, and fans still want to run him out of town on a rail because he doesn't have 13 straight championships.
Brings in A top class , many of whom leave every year to get paid. They want final fours in Kentucky and have high expectations when there is little continuity. I don’t think they expect annual championships. But like Duke this season an excellent freshman class but no sweet 16.Is he as happy as he can be though? Just got off the phone with a friend of mine who's a high school coach in NYC, someone very close Pitino told him that the only potential hold up could be that RP wants to name his successor which is Maisiello, which was said before on this site. Just wanted to share what I heard. But this same person did say this is also a done deal, he's coming to SJU. Looking forward Tuesday brothers!I suspect 1) already happened, 2) is tonight, and 3) and 4) are Tuesday.
But don’t forget I’m an elitist so I appreciate lobster rolls but not crab rollsOutside of Lobster Rolls and IPAs - dont think I have seen so many posts with such conviction on one topic from you.... This must mean something...
My only question is if it is a done deal, then naming his successor, like Masiello was not a negotiation point.Just got off the phone with a friend of mine who's a high school coach in NYC, someone very close Pitino told him that the only potential hold up could be that RP wants to name his successor which is Maisiello, which was said before on this site. Decide my ass, THIS BETTER GET DONEZagoria holding out hope.
I guess the assumption is that SJU will not lose RP over a successor and we can also assume this conversation was started a few weeks ago.My only question is if it is a done deal, then naming his successor, like Masiello was not a negotiation point.

Zags has been two steps behind this whole process. Was the first one to say CMA is likely to stay. Continues to downplay what has been exposed to the public, a la Goodman.Zagoria is a clown that nobody likes, he should stick to tennis . He is just trying to be a foil to ZB. He has no sources and most folks wouldn’t let that guy near a school zone.
