You think our fan base can stand for 2 hours ? I know I can’tScrew it, let’s just play them in Taffner.
The athletic department can hire a contractor to install high school bleachers this off season. We can test it for our rematch with Pace next October. You think our fan base can stand for 2 hours ? I know I can’t
I don't trust anyone they hire to install seats after the last failed experiment at CA.The athletic department can hire a contractor to install high school bleachers this off season. We can test it for our rematch with Pace next October.
Yup!!I think everyone including Pitino is over analyzing and talking too much about the topic of where we play games.
If we win, fans will come. When they come, we will have a strong home court advantage anywhere.
We havent won anything in 25 years. Doesn’t matter where we play.

Agree and we worry about everything. Years of irrelevance and frustration does thatWith a top 25 caliber team we should be able to draw 10,000 fans against Hofstra at UBS.
I have no problem at all playing Fordham at MSG and Hofstra at UBS. If we have to worry about those games, we are in trouble. Let their fans contribute to our ticket sales for the one game per season they actually attend.
Of course it matters. If you give up your hone court advantage in the Garden when we play Villanova, UCONN, Georgetown or anyone with a strong enough fan base who buy 40-70% of tickets, at the end of a season you could be just one win short of an ncaa bid.I think everyone including Pitino is over analyzing and talking too much about the topic of where we play games.

Isn't our attendance ranking distorted by the fact that CA has such a small capacity? Our home court record is 8th best in big east on the chart Paultz put up. 16-8 could easily have been 18-6 or better if a better home court advantage existed.
I said it a little flippantly but my main point is, there seems to be a chicken and egg argument about getting good attendance/home advantage based on where we are playing. I actually just think the egg is winning games — that will make fans buy tickets for games everywhere we play: Carnesseca, MSG, and yes, Barclays (if its part of the season ticket package). Of course, there’s pros and cons to each place, but if we’re winning, fans will come.Of course it matters. Don't you think Rick looks at our poor attendance and knows that we will have a tougher time winning at home than our opponents do on their home court?

Yes Rick definitely has created a nyc buzz about our team. Enough to pry local fans away from big screen tvs?
Demand for tix is like real estate. Inventory that is lower than demand pushes demand higher. If our entire Big East season was in a small arena we'd win more and ticket demand would surge.
It won't happen, but you can't win without a hone court advantage for all of your home games.
