Rick Pitino - Head Coach at St John’s University!!!

Beast , as you have said before , Ledlum is more than a Basketball Player and his answer to your question is a reflection of that . He could have easily said” Yes , the Course work here is very easy , compared to Harvard .” I think sometimes , many of us , believe these high echelon schools are way better than what they really are . From what I know , the Tobin School curriculum is very rigorous and not a walk in the park .

He didn’t ! It’s why a young Man like Chris will make a mark for himself , long after his BB days are behind him .

He's special, even the way he plays on a team.

He's an integral part and as we get more into the season,
we will appreciate him more and more.

A real winner.

University presidents by and large are terrified to enter into this conflict, where a single word out of place even if well reasoned can have explosive consequences on their campus and to their careers.

Very simply, if even one courageous individual would stand up and proclaim, "Our university will not tolerate intolerance - not racial, religious, or political. While students are compelled by their conscience to express diverse and sometimes conflicting opinions, hateful or threatening language or behaviors will result in immediate expulsion and may be subject to criminal prosecution. We encourage our students to engage in civil discourse that promote peaceful and just resolutions to complex world issues."

Tell us you went to law school and never heard of Brandenburg v Ohio.
Brandenburg is a concerto by Bach.

Ohio is a song by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.

Since Ohio is a story about the Kent State shooting death of a female student protesters by National Guardsmen as the protest turned violent.

As a legal moron, Ohio prevails here on relevancy.

CSNY would never yell "Fire" in a crowded arena, but if they sang it, their harmonies would be amazing

Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. owns the quote about falsely yelling out fire in a crowded
theatre.
Free speech can protect one even though what you say is false,
but not when it's potentially flagrant dangerous and harmful.

But while you have protections of freedom of speech you are not protected from the damaging ramifications of that speech.

"This has been the dream of my life to buy a farm. Move away from the city, plow my own fields, plant my own soil, to get my hands dirty! Sweat and strain to make things grow. To join hands with you, the farmers. The backbone of our economy."

I know who said it. The decision he said it in was overturned and even Holmes himself began to distance himself from his own logic shortly after he said it.

Speech which is flagrant (whatever that means) dangerous and harmful (whatever that means) is protected speech even if its abhorrent to you personally. The standard is "likely to incite imminent lawless action" and its a very high bar to clear. If you're at a public gathering and you yell "we should kill all Jews/gays/blacks/women/whomevers"- that's protected because it's not likely to incite imminent action. If one of the Jews/gays/blacks/women/whomevers walks past and someone says "we should kill THAT person right now", that's not protected because its likely to incite both imminent and lawless action. Yelling fire in a crowded theater is not likely to incite imminent or lawless action, hence protected speech.

TDLR; don't use "cant yell fire in a crowded theater" when talking about free speech

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Now can we discuss why Coach Pitino has his guys switch on every damn pick and roll??

You should really read the holding of that case more closely before discussing it publicly.

Test your hypothesis by yelling something crazy on your next flight and report back to us how it went for you.

Patino said " “These guys … just want to score the ball.” after lost to Boston College.

Patino recruited players who just want to score the ball. That is the problem. Pitino should have brought Walter Clayton from Iona. After Walter Clayton decided to go to Florida instead of St. John's, Pitino should not let Posh go instead of bring Jenkins. Posh is defence based point guard and he is doing great at Butler now.

The decision may have been reversed but the quotation from it , in regard
to free speech, is arguably the most cited quote pertaining
to the problem,. It is used to clarify ,making the distinction of, what's free speech
or not.
Also, don't omit the word, '" Falsely" from the quotation,. It not only
is material, it is crucial.
It is crucial
.
GO JOHNNIES !!

Posh could have stayed with or without Jenkins. He’s gone.
