The problem I see is that they come down court they set something up and start running it but at some point Jenkins just decides he’s not giving the ball up and everything stops

Score first mentality so far on a team that clearly would benefit from sharing the rock and ball movement. I hope he orchestrates v chasing stats.
I find it hard to believe Rick would allow this, it's been that way for all 3 games. So he must been given the green light.
Rick must know something that we don't, above my pay grade by a mile.
Well then, play him more. He looked fine the measly 3 minutes he played today.

I would have signed up for landing Rick knowing he may struggle year one, but improve with solid Dance level year two, followed by head turning “do real Dance damage” in next three years.
Making hay out of gate is not an entitlement based on “glory days” decades ago. We got a HOF guy who is not riding Secretariat. For too long, maybe more like “Mr Ed”. Pitino will get there, but overnight seems folly. If he manages to exceed my adjusted expectations this year, kudos, but I am trying to appreciate degree of difficulty of total rebuild and being patient contrary to my nature. Go Rick!

It’s a smart move strategically to Red Shirt them both . They weren’t going to play much this season with all the 5 year players anyway .
This way they don’t give up a year of eligibility for just sitting on the Bench .
It’s a related question but , what are Rick’s plans for Dunlap this year ? Does he get enough PT to keep him here next year ? Or , is Brady and his Dad ok with him sitting as much as he likely will?
